JACQUELINE FORD

Jacqueline Ford is a construction and design leader, licensed California General Contractor, and Certified Interior Designer with more than 13 years of experience delivering commercial tenant improvements, new construction, renovations, and high-end residential projects from initial planning through completion. With licenses in both general building and pool construction, she brings an uncommon combination of design vision, technical knowledge, and hands-on construction experience to every project.

In 2012, Jacqueline founded Jacqueline Ford Design + Build, Inc., where she led multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, consultants, vendors, and trade partners. As both a designer and contractor, she managed projects across the full delivery lifecycle, including feasibility, programming, design development, construction documentation, permitting, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, construction coordination, and turnover. She also built and managed teams of more than 20 professionals and trade partners while maintaining accountability for project quality, client communication, and construction outcomes.

Today, Jacqueline applies that experience to commercial tenant improvement and renovation projects as a Senior Project Manager at LPA Design Studios. She coordinates architects, engineers, contractors, landlords, and client stakeholders while managing schedules, fees, permitting, technical documentation, accessibility requirements, field conditions, and construction administration.

Her background also includes product and fashion design, giving her a valuable understanding of brand identity, consumer experience, production, and the relationship between creative vision and physical environments. This perspective informs her ability to create spaces that are visually compelling, operationally effective, technically coordinated, and aligned with each client’s broader goals.

Jacqueline earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture, Summa Cum Laude, from Ohio University. She also holds degrees in Interior Design and Product and Fashion Design and is recognized as the winner of the 2016 LA Median Competition.

Beyond project delivery, Jacqueline is committed to mentorship and increasing opportunities for women and emerging professionals in design and construction. She supports the next generation through professional guidance, industry education, and community-focused initiatives.

Jacqueline is currently pursuing architectural licensure through NCARB, further expanding her expertise across design, technical coordination, and construction delivery.
